Sarah Aldiab teaches violin, viola, and fiddle students, ranging from young beginners to adult players. Her love for music and excitement for teaching are what brought her to Old Town Violins. She holds an active and growing studio of students with a variety of musical interests.

Sarah maintains an active performing career in the central Kentucky area. She has performed with the Lexington Bach Choir, the Highland Chamber Players, the Kentucky Ballet, Louisville Strings, and the electric string group Electria. She is frequently asked to perform with faculty members at EKU. She has also been privileged to work under the direction of current composers such as Joseph Baber and Ola Gjeilo, performing their works.

Sarah earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Viola Performance from Eastern Kentucky University. While studying at EKU, she served as the principal violist in EKU’s Symphony and String orchestras. She was also a recipient of the Symphony Orchestra Merit Award. Her senior year, she was elected president of the EKU chapter of the American String Teachers’ Association, organizing many teaching and enrichment opportunities for students.
