Yu-Ting Huang was born in Hsinchu, Taiwan. She has seven years of experience teaching private violin to students from ages 5 to 28. She began playing the violin when she was 9 years old and entered music school when she was 12 years old. She holds a Master degree of Violin Performance from the University of Tennessee, where she was a student and Graduate Teaching Assistant of Professor Miroslav Hristov, where she received a full scholarship. She holds a Bachelor degree in Violin Performance from National Dong Hwa University, where she was a student and Teaching Assistant of Professor Keh-Shu Shen. As the top prize winner of many string competitions in Taiwan, she was the concertmaster of the National Dong Hwa University Symphony Orchestra. Currently, Yu-Ting is studying for her doctorate degree at the University of Kentucky School of Music, where she is a student and Graduate Teaching Assistant of Professor Daniel Mason on full scholarship.
