Zara Bolone

zara.jpg Zara Bolone earned her Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance and Pedagogy from Brigham Young University and Master of Music in Viola Performance from the University of Michigan.  She has twenty years of experience teaching private viola and violin lessons as well as 10 years teaching chamber music and orchestras in the public schools and private music camp settings.  In addition to her many years as a teacher, she has extensive performing experience that has taken her to Canada, Japan, Israel, Jordan, and Egypt.  As a professional chamber musician and symphony orchestra violist, she has performed both classical and rock styles and has been privileged to play with Johnny Mathis, Rod Stewart, Josh Groban, Clay Aiken, Mannheim Steamroller and   Transiberian Orchestra. Currently, Zara is a founding partner of Electria, Kentucky’s first electric string trio. Electria specializes in the latest pop songs arranged for weddings and corporate events.
