Shop Specialist

Madison began violin studies at age five. She grew up in Lexington and played in the Central Kentucky Youth Orchestra program for seven years. She began studies at the University of Kentucky in 2017 and earned a bachelor’s degree in violin performance in 2021. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree at UK, where she is one of UKSO’s concertmasters. Madison has spent recent summers performing at the Garth Newel Emerging Artist Program, Brevard Music Institute, and the Meadowmount School of Music. Her teachers and musical mentors include Bethany Watt, Rebecca Kiekenapp, Margaret Karp, and Daniel Mason. Madison maintains a studio of private violin students in Lexington and performs as a substitute violinist with the Lexington Philharmonic.
