Luthier
Although immersed in music for years prior, Oliver didn’t manage to get his hands on a violin until he was 12. His first violin was an old, terribly made instrument, but it was life-changing. He eagerly started learning classical violin, and eventually switched to learning various European styles of fiddle: Irish, Scandinavian, Klezmer, and more. At the same time, he began collecting, repairing, and selling violins, and has since been working in violin shops for over five years. Oliver is currently making his first violin while apprenticed under Zack Johnson, and spends his time between the Lexington and Louisville shop locations.
